How to deal with custom route creation interruption in Base Camp.

Hello, folks!
As many of you, I have experienced a frustrating and annoying problem with creating a custom route in Base Camp.

When you switch to the "hand" symbol to move the map in Base Camp (and I am aware of other ways to move the map, like the Map tool or arrow keys), there is no intuitive way to get the "pencil with the rubber band" back to continue marking the shaping / routing points on the partially created route.
I have read many posts about it, but could not find a clear answer......... Maybe you did, but for those who didn't - here it is.

So, you have started to create a new custom route, marked a few shaping points and now need to move the map or switch to some other tool temporarily. You did what you had to do and now ready to continue creating that unfinished route. You highlight the route in "My Collection", it lights up on the map, BUT the "Pencil" is not there.....

Don't fret! Click on Tools, in the drop-down window select "Insert" (or just hit letter "I" on the keyboard). The pencil will appear.
NOW, PAY ATTENTION!!!
Move that pencil to your last shaping point from UNDERNEATH, where your partial route IS NOT!
The last shaping point will acquire a grey circle around it. Left click on it and you are in business! You can continue routing happily!

If you let the pencil touch your partial route - it will not give you that grey circle, but instead will try to insert a shaping point. And that creates a MESS.
Good luck! Hope that was helpful to some or many!!!!
Happy traveling! :)
