Route in 680t different than route in basecamp

I have created a route in Basecamp and downloaded the route into my 680t. The problem is that the route in the 680t does not follow roads. Both Basecamp and my 680t are using Topo US 24K West maps. The activity profile in Basecamp is Driving and in the 680t it is automobile driving. Anyone know what is going on?

Is that a Montana? If you're getting straight lines and you've created the route on the same map selected on your Montana then it should work, are you sure the map is selected? If it is check the routing settings in the profile you're using.

Yes, it is a Montana. How do I check the routing settings in the profile on the Montana?

With the relevant profile selected go into SetUp, Routing ... Ensure Activity is set to Automobile Driving and that Lock On Road is set to Yes
