Topo map doesn't appear on top of Birdseye on GPSmap64s

Hi!

I loaded on my GPSmap64s (from Basecamp on Windows 7) Ibycus Topo Canada but the map doesn't appear on top of the Birdseye images already loaded on my GPS unit. I see the map on my unit but around the birdseye images and not on top of it. Is it possible to make it appear on top? I have also OSM generic routable map that appears on Basecamp aswell as on my unit...but Ibycus topo does not on my unit...anyone?

That will be a draw order issue. You might need to experiment to get it as you want it. In BaseCamp open the BirdsEye imagery and lower the draw order. I tend to set mine to zero, then I know any map will show through.

Another question...
My Ibycus map is massive...takes for ever to load in Basecamp. Would it be possible to remove some parts of the Ibycus map? I need only a small part, maybe 1/100 of the whole map.

Ok...I did it with Mapsource. I selected 5-6 portion of the topo map and uploaded it on my unit. But is there a way to do this with Basecamp ?

Glad you got it sorted. As for installing portion of a map using BaseCamp, then yes, just right click on your device and select Install map, then follow the wizard ...
