I have a Garmin eTrex 30 with birdseye subscription. when I am logged into garmin it shows my subscription is active. I have downloaded birdseye imagery before and transfered it to my device with no issues. a week or so after doing that i downloaded additional imagery and when i went to transfer it,a warning popped up and said it cannot connect to the garmin servers. SO i updated my device software and updated the basecamp software. SO now when I go to transfer it the pop up transfer window shows that i do not have a subscription. I went back into My Garmin and it shows active subscription. Garmin has not been able to resolve it. Anyone have this issue?
  • Are you sure you're using the same log in details in BaseCamp as in MyGarmin, and for the same device? I can recall a similar issue when things weren't matching up, on that occasion Garmin support had to resolve it.

Yes my login always showed my username up in the menu bar. I never logged out. I logged out then logged back in with the user name and password i use to log into my garmin. my user name will show back up in basecamp as it always has. So I tried to download a new section of Birdseye. The download window pops up and in the drop down menu for the product selection it automatically has Birdseye TOPO-USGS Quads US. I did not realize that was not my subscription so i figured the wrong product was being chosen. I found Birdseye Satellite Imagery Subscription V2. I selected that and then it shows subscription active. Still having the same issue.
  • I'm confused since earlier you said BaseCamp was saying you didn't have a subscription but now it's saying you do have an active subscription? If so what is the problem now?

Sorry, well when I first noticed it saying I didn't have a subscription on the birdseye download box I did not realize the incorrect "product" from the drop down menu was selected. So when I noticed I checked the menu and found the Birdseye Sat SUnscription V2 listed. I selected that one and when I went back to try to download the imagery it then showed an active subscription. I selected a small area to download new birdseye imagery,it showed the green bar download progress and looks like it finishes. I check the box to transfer imagery after download. Then the download box disappears. I cant seem to see the imagery on my device. SO I try to "send" it to my device and the pop up for the product activation verification opens then another pop up opens saying it cannot connect to the garmin servers. Even though on the download box and when I log into my garmin it shows the subscription is active. I used this feature with no problems the week before. nothing has changed with my computer or internet connection at all.
  • Well let's take this a step at a time, forget sending to the device, does the imagery download into BaseCamp?

Oh ya,the images download, you can see it on the map. It also lists the downloads in the pane to the left. everything seems to work and act just as before when i had no issues. I just get that warning it cant connect to the garmin servers to verify product activation
  • If the images download to BaseCamp you can drag/drop the files into your device.
