The HD crashed on my laptop but I have a backup. I installed BaseCamp onto a new computer and am trying to restore "My Collection" from my backup file without success so far. I have restored the files from C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\BaseCamp\Database\4.6\TrackSegments to the same folder on my new computer. BaseCamp only shows me the tracks that are currently stored on my gps that I have imported to My Collection. How do I restore the files from my backup?
Are you on a different OS? I think Win10 stores the data in a different location to Win7 but can't check that right now. In any case, just go to Edit, Options, General and point BaseCamp at the location where you've stored the data by clicking the green add button.
