Due to having lost my original Etrex Touch 35, I have been entering Waypoints from saved Adventures into my new Etrex Touch 35 to use when I repeat the same hike.
When I saved the new Track and Waypoints via Basecamp (4.6.2), I noticed that the Track overlays my previous hike, but the Waypoints are shifted by what looks to be a constant amount.
Is this a bug in later versions of Basecamp (I do not know what version the original Adventure was saved with) or some other error?
For example (verified as correctly entered into my new Etrex):
Shawka 1 (original Adventure and entered into new Etrex)
25° 6'5.22"N
56° 3'36.72"E
Shawka Start (transfered into new Adventure from New Etrex)
25° 6'11.38"N
56° 3'40.96"E
Distance:224.3m Bearing 031°
Shawka 2 (original Adventure and entered into new Etrex)
25° 4'38.16"N
56° 4'21.06"E
Shawka 1 (transfered into new Adventure from New Etrex)
25° 4'44.39"N
56° 4'25.36"E
Distance 226.9m Bearing 032°
I have attached both old (yellow) and new (red) Adventures viewed in Google Earth where it can be seen that 7 pairs of Waypoints have been shifted by the same amount.
