mapping problem

I'm not sure how to word this but here goes. I have to authenticate a group of trails. I want to pre-draw them and upload to my gps. How do I draw these in Basecamp, display them all on the GPS but not have the tracks joined together. In the attached image I want to be able to draw the yellow line on the map before I go out, avoid having the red lines joining the yellow ones but also have all the trails displayed on the GPS

You don't say what GPS you have but certainly on Garmin handhelds you could load those as individual tracks and set them to all display.

If you don't know how to draw tracks in BaseCamp then just google ... There are loads of videos out there explaining how to do this.

Garmin GPSMAP 64S. When I look at the files on the garmin they show up as separate tracks, and I saw no way to load ALL TRACKS.

Don't have your model but if it's like the two I do have you can set individual tracks to 'always show'.

Not sure why you're repeating yourself, have you looked in your menus to find where to set a track to 'always show'?

the map I am trying to do this to has approx. 100 tracks on the one gpx file is there no way to make this series of tracks an overlay, one track or to set all of the tracks within the gpx as always on

Ah OK, that wasn't clear from your description, the screenshot only showed a few tracks.

Unfortunately there isn't a way to universally set all tracks to show. However these programs should allow you to do what you need to do
