Using map 2017.3 I used to do a POI search and it had resulting categories like museum/historical sites category to select. Now when I do a POI search a single subcategory of 'park/garden". Going back to 2017.2 i now get the full spectrum of POIs to include subcategories like museum/historical. Did I change something in the setup or is this a Garmin server issue? Or has Garmin reduced the POI database?
I just tried it. I used the Find > Find Points of Interest menu item. When I click on the dropdown list to see the available categories I don't see any difference between the list I get for CNNA 2017.2 and 2017.3.
OK. Can you try the drop down for the "subcategories"?. When selecting Attractions in the 1st drop down, I only see a single item in the 2017.3 "subcategory" or 2nd drop down menu. when doing the same with the 2017.2 I see 7 subcategory items listed.
This happens fairly regularly. Is there a way to make this info sticky?
yes thanks. That worked. I deleted all the files located in this director C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\Garmin\BaseCamp\ProductDataCache and now it works fine..
