Basecamp not working - Windows error code 87

Hi,

After quite a while using Basecamp now it stops working. I´ve just change from Garmin Oregon 450 to an Edge 1000 and now the following error when i try to open Basecamp or Training Center or Mapinstall.
I try uninstalling all the above and install it again but same thing. Anyone with the same problem? Or a fixing for this problem?

Try googling Win Error 87 ... There's lots of help out there and many causes.

I did, and try a few but the solutions didn´t work. The most strange thing it´s that only the Garmin software (exception to the express) where affected...

Basecamp not working - Windows error code 87 - SOLVED

Hi,

Found the solution. Because the problem only happens with garmin software it´s not a windows 87 error that cause it. In the error description says:

Unknown
That ring a bell and i reinstall a portuguese map and voilá, Basecamp, Training Center and Mapinstall start working again... Great.
