convert gpx to csv to get into excel

Very green! Q 1. I want to know how to take an edited tracks group of waypoints and convert them to a csv file and then get them into a excel spreadsheet so that I can share them with another user to either upload on to their device or put into a survey plan. I have been made familiar with types of software to use but seem to be missing something when it comes to applying the steps. I really need to get a step by step process as am very green and new to basecamp.
Q 2. I also need to know how to change my basecamp settings so that my coordinates are displayed in UTM-N,E and not in lat/long. Please help.

Not sure about 1) as I've never needed to do it.

As for 2) it's under Edit, Options, Measurement Position (at bottom of tab) ...

I use GPSBabel. It converts file formats giving many different options.

Basecamp seems to have a csv export style function for waypoints. Did not try it.

Like 39steps said, BaseCamp can export your tracks and waypoints as CSV or TXT.
I use TXT because then all I have to do is change the extension from TXT to ASC (ascii) and my PCSurvey software will import it directly just as is.
Also, depending on your software, Lat & Long in ddd.mm.ss, imported as an ASC file into PCSurvey can be converted to NAD83 with just the push of a button.
Very handy software.
