Bug Report: Low Printing Fidelity

I post this Basecamp behavior in the hopes the Basecamp developers will consider if their is a improvement to user usability in their next release. This is an issue I have observed routinely when using Basecamp.

When using Basecamp to print to paper, the resulting printed fidelity is greatly reduced from that presented on the Basecamp display and from that presented on the Basecamp Print Preview.

As an example, an unpaved road is represented by dashed lines. The Basecamp display on the PC and the print preview will present 11 dashes for a particular road. The printed version will show less than 1/2 the number of dashes with large empty area between dashes. The resulting map can be very confusing to interpret especially in areas of dense roads due to this incomplete road presentation.

The Basecamp Options is set for High Rendering Quality. The map scale is about 1.5 miles/inch.
The print config is set for Fine and Photo. Graphics and other configs were tried with no improvement.

A work around is to capture a PC Print Screen from the Basecamp display and paste into an application to print. In this case the map fidelity is preserved.
