Bug Report: Cant Delete Files from Internal Storage

In case the developers view this forum Id like to describe this issue I observe.

From Basecamp accessing and viewing "Internal Storage" of attached GPS or the Nuvi 8 series.
Many routes and waypoints are shown.
Some of the routes can be deleted using right click and selecting delete from the resulting pop up menu.
Some routes and ALL waypoints do not have the "Delete" option in the pop up menu.

When selecting "All" files in the Internal Storage or even a few files the "Delete" command does not appear in the pop up menu.

Routes not appearing in the GPS "Routes" display are shown by Basecamp in the GPS "Memory Card/User Data" window.

After removing the battery and replacing to reset the Nuvi 8 series and now viewing Basecamp Memory Card/User Data, previously deleted routes appear and now cannot be deleted.

It's not a bug, it's due to the way a nuvi works. Normally BC cannot delete data from a nuvi, you must do it using the nuvi menus. The exception is if you've sent data to the nuvi. That data will appear to be deleted by BC but may still appear on your nuvi if its already been merged in with its inaccessible data.

To ensure data is deleted off a nuvi first connect to your PC and delete all gpx files from your GPX directory. Now disconnect your nuvi and use its menus to delete any data you wish to remove permanently.
