I created a route a few days ago with no problems. Today I went back to that route as I wanted to edit it. I alt clicked on a point to move it but then the program started to recalculate and sent paths all over .the place. Had to undo to restore. What is the problem here and what is the solution?
In any case you'll still have to set the profile on the Oregon to Direct when you want to use the route on it. As you've already discovered, when your route sees that map on the Oregon it is going to recalculate that wacky route you've been seeing on Basecamp when the Oregon is connected and its map is selected.
Set the profile to direct on everything as has been suggested multiple times and save yourself more heartburn.
