Missing map following garmin express update

I reinstalled the map on my zumo 595 after updating garmin express to ver. 4.1.27.0, I hoped this would address the "Install to computer" problem.

Basecamp no longer "sees" the map on my zumo so all I have is the global map.

I am reminded of the saying "One step forwards, two steps backwards".

Is anyone else having this problem?

If you've reinstalled the map BaseCamp will probably need to reindex it. Until that has happened BaseCamp can't show it. Just leave the device connected until the map is fully indexed.

OK thanks I'll try that, I did leave it for nearly an hour though and there was no progress bar activity.

Well you should see the map name displayed under the device in the top left hand pane. Under that you should see a progress bar. It should advance then turn green once indexing is complete.

I assume the map displays on your Zumo?

Factory reset the zumo, reinstall the map and now it shows in basecamp.

Hours wasted :mad:
