I have 2 corrupt files on my 62s. They are both tile files from Topo Canada V4 . One is on the internal drive in gmapbmap folder , while the other is on a Backroads micro sd card also in the bmapgmap folder . They both say "corrupt" when I double click on them . Can I remove/delete these corrupt files and install new files ? If I can install new files what folder do I put them ?
You wouldn't normally have a gmapbmap folder, but would have a map file of that name so I'm confused by your post.
However if you have map files that are corrupt they can be safely removed. How you replace them depends on how you got them, but map files need to be in the Garmin folder.
