I am using Windows 10 and am having trouble using the Map report feature. When you open up the page it will not fully open and therefore I am not able to report faults. There is a problem with old speed camera locations and some have not been in the said locations for 5 years, also there are a lot of speed zones which are out of date, even on the latest maps. I contacted CS here and was directed to go to Here maps.com and report these inconsistences but they do not have any such way to report these problems, and when sending them emails in regards to this cannot get any answers. SO how does one then report these problems, can you please reply to this.
Something to do with Garmins setup.... not everyone elses incorrect settings ?????
Garmin servers have a nasty habit of causing problems - going off line or switching to servers with the wrong update. I would suggest you back up your data, download and reinstall BaseCamp. It can be downloaded from http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=4435. Checked to make sure the download is the correct size before installing.
Please report back if this does or does not solve the problem.
Is there anyone who can tell me HOW do you then report the problems with the speed cameras. Who is then the 3rd party that supplies this information for the Garmin units. Has anything been done re the problem with BaseCamp ???
You don't appear to be listening. You CANNOT report problems with speed cameras through the map report form. Why that form isn't working for you but does for everyone else I can't say, and troubleshooting issues like that through a forum is difficult.
Map errors can also be reported directly to HERE as they supply the maps to Garmin
