I just installed Basecamp 4.6.2 on my Win7 machine, and tried to connect it to my old Garmin Etrex Vista.
I am not able to see it under devices, and Basecamp says "no device detected" trying to communicate.
Is the support for COM (serial) ports still present in Basecamp?
MapInstaller and WebUpdater are correctly communicating with Etrex (I installed new maps on it using MapInstaller, so serial port and cable have no problem), but no way to load waypoints or, even worse, download tracks from Etrex.
Is there any workaround to activate serial communication in Basecamp?
I had to install a third party software to transfer waypoint to the Etrex...
