Basecamp won't import waypoints

Reluctantly tried Basecamp, because I prefer MapSource... however, neither program will import waypoints from my Garmin eTrex30. I really feel like Mapsource did in the past. I'm also having a terrible time trying to open/import archived tracks. Any help would be appreciated.

I have no trouble getting waypoints from my Etrex 20 into either program.

In BaseCamp click on the Etrex data folder in the top left hand pane so the data appears in the bottom left hand pane.

Now drag/drop data you want in BaseCamp into a folder/list in the top left hand pane or right click it and select Send to.
