For a route designed in Basecamp, how do I assure the route in the GPS will match exactly? How to I configure Basecamp so the route after uploaded to the GPS matches precisely what I created in Basecamp?
The only sure way is to compare the two after the route is on your device.
The way to give yourself best chance that they will match is to ensure you use the same map on both, and that avoidance and routing settings match as close as possible. Also try not to let your device recalculate the route.
I can't recall which device you have, some accept and stick to BC routes better than others.
