Windows 10; Basecamp 4.6.2
When I opened Basecamp this morning, the latest track in My Collection was dated two days ago. The tracks that I downloaded from my Oregon 450 and edited in Basecamp yesterday were missing. Most likely, I accidently deleted the tracks. However the Garman database has several tracks with names like "a44219ca-1401-4c9c-a3b0-b235de66b091" dated yesterday. Almost certainly these are the missing tracks that I deleted. Running a Garmin backup confirms that these tracks are orphans since the tracks were not included in the backup.
Unfortunately, the orphaned tracks are binary, not text based GPX files. Does Garmin have a utility to read the orphaned track segments and to convert the tracks to GPX or some other readable format?
