line connecting two points of a track

Hi,

Since I changed Notebook BaseCamp behaviour looks unusual; a segment connecting two points of a track is not anymore a straight line but looks like a line drawn freehand without a ruler. Is there something I can do? My drivers are up to date.

Can you post a screenshot as it's difficult to fully envisage what you're seeing.

One thought is whether you have a routable map chosen and somehow you've set that portion to route rather than being Direct.

Sorry for my late reply. I had to go away.

Here attached the screenshot I made. Hope this works. Dunno how to see the attachment with the preview function! Actually I realized the upload failed. I followed the explanation of the Garmin Forum FAQ, Attachments and Images, to no avail. Is it a matter of size. Weight is only 326.2 kB & the attachment window allows 2 MB. Is there a special way to post a screenshot other than an attachment ?

The glitch disappeared a few days after I wrote this post. Don't understand why. But as a matter of fact I was never able to attach the screenshot I made showing the glitch!
