Hello All,
I am pretty savvy at creating my custom routes in BC. But another challenge I get with importing routes to my device is editing the properties then importing the route to device. e.g. So after I created a custom route in BC I check that the lines don't have any missed aligned points. Then I go to properties and edit each highlighted point with (e.g. Point 2, Street Name) etc. The reason I do this is to keep track of of each point when I am out riding and I happen to be near a custom route and want to ride on it but (1) so when Garmin displays name of the streets means nothing to me because I am not familiar with the area and may not be near where the begining is, I could be some where near Point 3 & Point 4 and I can make a determination which point I want the device to take me too in relation to where I am closest too. But I soon realize that after the device prompts to ask me which point I want to go to that not all the points I edited on BC were actaully sent to device some did make it. So I began checking all my custom routes and found that it is not an isolated incident, alot of my custom routes don't have all the properties as I edited on BC to device. I had to edit/rename the points on the device itself which was a pain. Any thoughts on this. I know that everyone who is an expert at BC says it is an imperfect software so get use to it.
Thanks Junior
