Copy maps from one install of Basecamp to another?

I downloaded the new map (City Navigator North America NT 2017.2) to my GPS and also to my Basecamp install on my desktop. Is it possible to transfer the new map from the desktop to my laptop by copying some files from the desktop to the laptop? If this is possible, it sure would save a bunch of download time.
