Facebook won't allow me to post a gpx file on my personal page or any event page I create. It does however allow it on a "group" page. How do the rest of you share your routes once you've developed them? I'm an officer in the local HOG chapter and I want to be able to post the routes for the general public attending dealership rides. Facebook seems to be the most viewed social media, so be great if I could use it. Appreciate any ideas!
Yes, I've noticed FB messaging allows me to include a gpx file. I was hoping to not have to send every one out individually. I'm not familiar with Dropbox, I'll go check them out. THANX!
1. create and Adventure an map of route and .gpx are accessible from the Garmin server to anyone by search or your can provide the URL of the ride report.
2. Create a .gpx using the "export" function of Basecamp and post to a forum of your choosing.
3. Create a .gpx and email.
