Cant view photos in BaseCamp

First off, really enjoying my 62sc.
PS Running Base Camp version 4.6.2 and 5.10 on my device.
I recently took number of photos using my 62sc and after uploading to Base Camp they appear in the “data view menu” as Way Points along with file numbers e.g. DSC001 versus others that appear as Geo-tagged Photos again with a similar file number.
I don't believe that I have changed a setting BUT would REALLY appreciate how to resolve this issue as I now can’t readily view these ones via BaseCamp.
I'm VERY new to BaseCamp etc and would appreciate ANYTHING you could do to assist me?

Do you mean that you run two versions of BC on your system? Try to uninstall one to see if it works. If not, you'd better scan the system for sure. Because the settings could be changed by some nasty stubborn programs without your permission.
Have you finished the scan process and find something like Web Timer(this article reports it as an adware)? If you found something like that, remove it!
