I loaded a long list of addresses and some routing from BaseCamp into my RV760. I then looked at them on the Device in BaseCamp, and received them back from the Device into BaseCamp. All was as it should be. [The addresses were originally imported into BaseCamp in a .kml file from Google MyMaps.]
However, when I start the RV760 and look at the addresses, they're truncated to remove most of the address. When I then reconnect it to BaseCamp, I can see only the truncated address.
Apparently it saves the lat/long. coordinates because it can still pinpoint the location of each address. However, without the actual address it can't successfully guide me to the point. The first stop was a KOA campground which has a long driveway off the highway. Instead of taking me to the address on the highway, it took me to a nearby dead-end street, and then said "NAVIGATE OFF ROAD"!
For now I'll set aside the fact that I purchased the RV version so it wouldn't get me and my 30' trailer into a situation like that. After making a 5-point U turn to get out of the one-way road I entered the full address manually and it took me straight to it.
Does anyone know why it is stripping the address information and how I can stop it? I just tried reloading everything with the same result. I updated the maps and software 2 days ago.
