I've had my nüvi 2545 for a couple of years now but only just discovered BaseCamp and I like what I've found. But I've either had a problem with it or I'm misunderstanding how it works.
I set up a route in BaseCamp then sent it to my satnav. Or so I thought. When I unplugged it and turned it on, I expected to click View Map and find the route already set. But this hasn't happened. I also sent the route to the device's memory card. But I can't find anywhere in the device's screens to import a route from the memory card. What am I misunderstanding? Or is my satnav not capable of being used in this way?
Further info:
I set up the route by setting waypoints for two locations, highlighting them both in the bottom left-hand pane, then right-clicking and selecting 'Create route using selected waypoints'.
I sent the route to the device by highlighting the route in the bottom left-hand pane, then clicking Device, 'Send to Device', 'Send Selection to Device', then clicking the nüvi 2545.

Panic over. When I first looked in Trip Planner, my route didn't show up. I plugged the satnav into my PC, checked that the route was on the device, then unplugged and went to Trip Planner again and the route was there.
