Measure Distance Issue

Hello,

I have created a set of points within ArcMap and saved them in shapefile format projected to UTM 14N. I have then uploaded these points to my Garmin GPSMap64. I was looking at the points within the GPSMap64 device and measured the distance using "Measure Distance" from one point to a know location (road). The GPS device is stating that the distance is approximately 4x the actual distance. I know the distance to the road from that point is 100m and the device is stating that it is 400 meters. I have verified this issue exists when measuring other points to known locations. This doesn't happen when doing the same procedure as stated above with the GPSMap60 or GPSMap62. Is this something anyone else has experienced, and do any fixes for this issue exist?
