Not Fixed Yet - Export route from basecamp 4.6.2 to RV660

In this thread (clicky) I temporarily solved my inability to transfer routes from Basecamp 4.6.2 to an RV660. The temporary solution was a Master Reset. However, I found that after the initial successful transfer of routes from Basecamp to the GPS subsequent attempts failed. A new Master Reset enables the transfer success again, and then fails shortly.

At this point, I've given up on transferring routes; perhaps a solution will become apparent later.

I'm the OP with what seems to be good news.

Transferring routes from my Windows 7 computer from Basecamp 4.6.2 to my Garmin RV660LMT with map City Navigator North America NT 2019.2 installed on both the RV660 and on Basecamp while using Garmin Express 6.9.1.0 is working. It may also work with other configurations; I'm just posting my setup for reference.

The change from not working to working seems to have occurred just after I installed Garmin Express 6.9.1.0, but I can't be positive about that.

The transfer works when transferring by copy/pasting a route from Basecamp onto the RV660LMT or by using the Sending to Device icon. You can copy either to the Internal Storage memory or the User Data on the memory card.

And it only took Garmin over two years to fix this issue. Not bad for Garmin.

Express versions will have no effect on BaseCamp so something else may have happened, maybe a Windows issue solved by an update?
