Hi, When I create a waypoint using "Mark Waypoint" , it gives it a number, eg, 163. If I edit the name to say, carpark, save it, then after I try and enter a new waypoint, it comes up with the same earlier number, eg, 163. No problems with that. When I view the files on my PC in windows explorer, it indicates WAYPOINTS created say 23 June 2015. Again, no problem. However, if I delete ALL waypoints that have a mere number, eg, 162, 161 and so on, then, when I enter a new waypoint, it still comes up with 163.
I can't see any way either in the PC Windows explorer or in the garmin unit itself (other tahn complete factory reset) , to get the device to give the next waypoint as say number 1. There is the option "Delete All Waypoints", but I don't want to delete all waypoints (eg carpark, home, John in Sydney, etc), only the mysterious "hidden" numbered WPs.
