Elevation data on Graphics

Hey

At the moment I'm working to expand routes in Spain.
I use Basecamp Windows 10.
and chart: Topo Espanja V5 pro

A graphic of a track shows me the heights etc. , but when I view the ROUTE graphic of the same track I get the following: 'the current map does not contain any elevation data of the selected route (s)'
The 'properties' of this route I do see the altitude, ascent and descent information.

What could be the problem?

I think (Not certain on this) that a track will record elevation data as you travel. A route requires the map you are using to have elevation data embedded within it. Some maps have this and some don't.

My routes used to have flat graphs in Basecamp until the most recent Garmin map was released for my Edge Touring Plus. Now the graphs are working for me.

When converting a Track to a Route you will need to have a map with elevation data selected. For example, if you create a Track using a Topo map with elevation data and then convert it to a Route using a map without elevation data (e.g. City Navigator product or Global Map), the elevation data will be lost in the conversion.
