the vehicle profile cannot be found select another profile for this trip

I am importing from gpx files into BaseCamp but I have to make it the profile walking not driving because if I chose Driving the route is changed to another streets .
When I send the route to the device I am facing that message the vehicle profile cannot be found select another profile for this trip .
Any solutions??

Yep, this is all speculation, but, what the heck, this is the internet! :)

<SpeculationOn>My guess is that the big difference might be that there could be actual legal ramifications if the Desl routes your 18 wheeler or travel camper on a road which forbids operation of such vehicles, or, even worse, directs you across a bridge structure of insufficient strength for the weight. Big fine or crash to your and perhaps others damage and death. On this side of the pond manufacturers need to make such devices sailor-proof. </SpeculationEnd>

The OP could also try using a text editor to open the GPX file and change the text between the <trp:TransportationMode> and </trp:TransportationMode> to one of the profiles that actually resides on his Dezl just to see if it would be accepted by the device.
