When I transfer gpx routes , it is divided into 2 trips because of 29 way points limitations. is there a solution for that problem ?
This is very critical to me to keep the route into 1 trip ? The gpx is designed by https://www.myrouteapp.com/

Does your device have New Zealand maps? The jpg you provided looks like you are using the Global Map which does not support Auto-routing. If your device does not have a New Zealand map, a Direct Route may be a better option provided your device supports Direct Routes.

I'm afraid I have very little knowledge regarding On-The-Road devices, but I'm sure others will be able to provide better assistance.

For superb New Zealand auto-routing road maps use the NZ Open GPS Project maps. These are updated weekly and are free. On the download page you have a choice of either a ready made gmapsupp file of an installer that will put the map into MapSource and BaseCamp.
  • I'm having the same the same problem.  Trying to download a route from Gaia GPS, GPX file to my Garmin Zumo 590.  It's a  hour ride, with about 4 way points, saying it has over 29 via points, and divided it into 79 trips.  What am I missing?  I have a 6 day trip to download into the gps, if it can't download a 2 hour ride???
