I am getting very frustrated with my new GPS. Previously used Geko201 with serial port so thought it was time to upgrade. Registered device with MyGarmin and activated £20 voucher for BirdsEyeSelect and downloaded Basecamp. However, I am unable to download maps. Can see my 3000sqkm credit from activated card but after selecting area I am asked to enter username and password. I believe I have done this correct (same log in used for MyGarmin (email address and password) then see a message saying "Veryfying Device Activation" and then it tells me that "username or password was incorrect". Any ideas what the problem may be???
Possibly an issue with your account, you will need to call Garmin to let them investigate. Freephone number in UK is 0808 238 0000 (or 0370 850 1242 if you have a mobile plan that allows it).
Also ensure you're signed out of myGarmin before trying to sign in via BaseCamp.
