Edge 1000 - DEM map not being loaded in Basecamp - No elevation data

Hi all,

I just received my Garmin Edge 1000 with pre-installed maps. When I connect it to basecamp - the map " Cycling MAP EU 2015.30" is loaded fine - and on the map I also see the POI's which seems to indicate the other file from the Edge has been loaded as well. However it seems that the DEM file is not loaded as I don't seem to get any elevation data on the Map or when creating routes/tracks. Anyone know how to fix this or if it should be possible at all to see the elevation data from the DEM file in basecamp ?

Basecamp uses one map at a time. The DEM data is in a separate map.

If you want to literally see the DEM data, you can select the DEM map.

I believe one of JaVaWa's tools can add elevation data to your track.
