Base Camp Crashing When Exporting Data

Greetings All!

I currently have Base Camp installed on two desktop and one laptop computers. The program works flawlessly on one of the desktops and on the laptop, but crashes on the other desktop when I try to export data to a .gpx file.

A year or so ago, I started having this problem and spent over an hour on the phone with Garmin Tech Support uninstalling, re-installing and "tweaking" the software without success. If I try to export data to a .gpx file, the system stalls and I get a "Base Camp is not responding" message. A few months ago, I discovered that if I add, edit or delete any portion of a track or waypoint, then try to export, it stalls. However, if I close the program and reopen it, the export feature works as long as I haven't edited anything. This isn't how it's supposed to work, but I could live with it.

Last week I upgraded to windows 10 and have since lost the ability to export data under any circumstances. As I stated above, I use the software on my other two PC's and use the export feature on a regular basis without any issues so it's not like I'm doing anything wrong. My workaround has been to transfer my data to my Montana, then transfer the data from the Montana to one of the other computers and export it from there.

Anyone ever had this problem with their computers?
