I have created a virtual drive on the PC so I can use the OS GB maps, and some Norwegian maps. These maps have loaded automatically for the last few weeks, since I created the virtual drive with them on. However, they have stopped loading automatically now. I can select "Activate Garmin", from the folder I have created on the normal drive, and they then load OK, so this isn't a major problem, but it would be good to get the maps loading automatically again.
Does JaVaWa Device Manager program stil see the maps?
If not then there is something wrong with the virtual disk or mounting of the disk (rebooten of pc?)
If JDM says its ok, then the problem is often the map cache or product cache in basecamp. Map cache can be cleared using JDM (extra menu), the product cache can online be doen manually. But be sure to check If the disk is mounted as removable as mentioned in the previous post.
On my PC with win 10 I have to start the virt. disk every time I reboot the PC, with the VirtDisk Activate.cmd
That command is in the virt.disk map on your C: drive
