I currently use an Astro 320 to hunt with dogs. I'm interested in setting up a Base Station connection, and have a tablet (with Basecamp installed), cords, etc. I can use the tablet to display the dogs' tracks - but here's my problem.
The area I hunt has many dirt roads and jeep trails that I have previously mapped by creating tracks. In addition, I have many waypoints (200+). When I connect my Astro (using these instructions: https://garminbasecamp.wikispaces.com/BaseStation), and click Basestation - my tracks/roads and waypoints don't appear on the display, I only see the Topo.
I've done quite a bit of reading and searching, and thought that I would need to create a map of my tracks and waypoints, then ensure the map is installed in Basecamp. I've managed a very basic map (still needs some work) but this overlays my Topo map, so I no long have topo info. Is there a way to get my waypoints and tracks/roads to display with the Topo overlay?
Any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated!
