Garmin Montana 600

Apologies if this is not in the Correct Forum/area, but I just wondered if anybody out there had a solution for my problem.

I have over 120 Routes/Tracks stored on my Garmin 600 which for some reason I can only see 6. Previously all Routes and Tracks were visible and if you upload the Montana to Basecamp all the Routes are there and are visible on Basecamp, however they are not there when you view on the device (or they are there but you can only see a maximum of 6). I have removed the Batteries, re-downloaded the Routes/Tracks but still can only see only 6 or 7. I have also tried downloading the Operating System again but cannot get any more than 6 visible. The Waypoints I had saved are all Visible and dont seem to be having the same issue, its only Routes/Tracks which I use alot, or at least I used to as I can't any more.

Is there any way to Default the device or anyone got any better ideas?

I suggest you try a master reset.

I've had this problem a few times...my solution was to go into the GPX folder with File explorer and manually delete EVERY *. gpx file, including current and temp. Remove and reboot the Montana then re-connect to BC and you should see nothing at all in any category. Re-transfer the routes, tracks, and waypoints from BC and you should be good.

Only then try a master reset if it doesn't work.....remember to switch to Recreational Profile beforehand so as not to lose one of your custom Profiles.
