Unlocking Map Issue On Basecamp (Windows 7)...Help Please!

I have just bought a GPSMap 64s and I purchased the map on the the CD/DVD and according to my garmin page I have unlocked it however when I go into the basecamp software it says it is still locked and keeps directing me to the unlocking web page? Am I being completely stupid!! Is there a quick fix.
Yes, call Garmin Support. They will get it fixed. I had this problem too once and the tech finally emailed me the unlock file! Hasn't happened again.:)
No! The Unlock thing is the worst part of Garmin maps. It is extremely complicated and time consuming. I've done it for years and always battle with their "process". Last time was simply trying to activate a Garmin BirdsEye subscription - I had to end up getting phone help from Garmin in Sydney. The Unlock system is another reason to use the free Open Street and other Open Source maps.

I had a map unlock issue once and Garmin phone support fixed the issue very quickly over the phone.
