Transfering from Map62s to Map64s

I have a number of archived tracks on my 62s which has a broken USB connection. I have transfered them wirelessly to the 64s.
It does not recognise them for some reason.
I have used explorere to shift the tracks to my Data disk under Windows 7.
I can open the GPX files in Google Maps Google Earth, GPX Editor etc, bit not with Basecamp which is where I need them.
Has anyone any experience with solving this issue?

Try some file manipulations maybe using GPSVisualizer. Save the file in a different format, let's say kml then convert it back to gpx. Might do the trick.

As suggested, you can try to import the file to another application and export in the a different or same format. Besides the programs mentioned above, JaVaWa may have a tool that will help (google javawa). If you post a gpx file, someone here can probably identify the problem and tell you how to do a manual fix.

Data Transfer

I ended up bringing them into Google Earth then exporting them back out again and could then read them OK.
