This is the main reason I still prefer Mapsource to download and process my tracks from my 60csx.
The Mapsource Tracks listing tab has many useful columns:
- number of points - I can simply identify and delete the tiny tracks from power-up (I always have some tracks with fewer than 5 points before it locks in)
- start time - allows me to sort tracks by time/date
- summaries of elapsed time, length and avge speed are handy occasionally for things like separating walking and driving
The sorting by date is really useful. The only way to currently do this in Basecamp seems to be for me to rename every track with a prefix that allows sort by name to match sort by time.
But even this is tricky in Basecamp, because as soon as I rename one track they get reshuffled and I have to find the next track in sequence.
I understand that the normal list is "all data", where different items have different metadata, but if I select view->Data Filter->Tracks then a more detailed list, like Mapsource's would be very useful.
