Basecamp Installation

Hello,
Downloaded and installed Basecamp 4.5.2, but when I try to run it, I get an error message of

"There is a problem with the Topo Great Britain Installation

Please Re-Install Topo Great Britain and start Basecamp again!

I can't find any optionsof just installing Topo Great Britain separately, so how do I do this please? I'm assuming that Topo GB is part of the Basecamp download.

I've uninstalled Basecamp and tried a whole new installation, but without success.

Any help much appreciated.

PS Good spec machine running Windows 10. Had to try Windows 10 as .Net Framework 4.6 wouldn't install under Windows 7.

Topo GB isn't part of the Basecamp download, did you ever install that map to your PC?

It would appear then that my assumption that Topo GB is part of Basecamp is wrong. I did have it installed for use with a previous GPS with Mapsource. Where can I download a current version of Topo GB from please?

Not sure exactly what you mean by Topo GB ... is it this one?

Note I believe this is quite an old map, so it's unlikely to be better than the one you already have. If you still have the original DVD you should be able to reinstall it.

Install & run JaVaWa GMTK. It can detect map installation errors, and might even be able to repair them (no guarantee though)

Well after a lot of trying and guessing, I got Basecamp to run in the end. As a last resort, I made sure all Garmin products were uninstalled and rebooted for as clean a system as possible, (previously it had been reporting that Basecamp was running yet I had already uninstalled it). I have absolutely no idea what I did to make it work, but at least it is.
