Copy and Paste Parts of Routes - Waypoint Sorting Issue

Hello,

(using Basecamp 4.2.4) i'm trying to copy a part of route - let's say the first few kilometers - from one Route i created earlier to a new one that starts near where the other route ends. So i have route A->B->A and route B->C->B and now i want to kinda merge them to A->B->C->B->A
But when i try to copy and paste the waypoints from the route-properties Basecamp sorts the pasted waypoints in reversed alphabetical order – which of course is absolutely stupid.

Is there a way to copy and paste Waypoints (or parts of a Route) from one route to another without messing everything up? Or at least change the sorting settings somewhere?
I know i could number the waypoints i want to copy before (01, 02, 03...) but since they will be pasted backwards this would be a very complicated and time consuming workaround.

I'd split the routes at the appropriate points then join the parts I want to join, rather than try to copy and paste waypoints.

I tried this on 4.5.1 and it looks like for that version it's just the last point copied that is out of order. If I copy B->C->D, then it gets pasted in the order D->B->C. It'll be a lower priority, but I'll see if I can't get this fixed in one of the upcoming releases.
