On Base Camp it is easy to adjust for a change in time zone by just by adding a 1 hour at the point of time change when heading east, how do I deduct one hour when heading west?

We handle timezone changes for you, so you shouldn't have to adjust at all.

    Time Zone Change

Thank you for replying to my request, however the answer is incorrect.

A trip I am routing on base camp from Jasper, Alberta to Valemount, B.C. leaving at 12:00 PM shows a driving distance of 76 miles, Base Camp calculates the driving time as 1 hour 20 minutes and arriving in Valemount at 1:20 PM. So far it is accurate, however there is a Time Zone change at the Alberta/BC border of minus 1 hour which should show an arrival at 12:20 pm.

Please see the reply from Wurth below saying that " We handle timezone changes for you, so you shouldn't have to adjust at all."
I don't see an adjustment for the time zone change.

I wasn't able to reproduce your issue using CNNA 2015.3. I'm showing drive time of 1:33 and leaving Jasper at 10:08 and arriving at 10:40. Inverting the route show departing at 9:15 and arriving at 11:47. What map are you using? Have you tried recalculating the route?

Also, what version of BC are you using? It was within the last couple years that we added the timezone support.

    Still having trouble

I am using City Navigator North America 2015.4

I am not familiar with CNNA 2015.3

I have tried recalculating several times and also inverting the trip, then inverting again with the same results, a 75.24 mile drive east to west shows 1 hour 18 minutes departing at 11:07. With the time change of gaining one hour I should arrive at 11:25, yet BC shows arrival 12:25?

    Thanks

Can you import this gpx of the route that I've created and tell me if the timezones are not being calculated correctly for you? Also, could you export your route and post here for me to look at?
