Adventures won't transfer from BaseCamp to Device

Problem with copying Adventures to eTrex 20

I'm having trouble with copying Adventures to eTrex 20.
With BaseCamp, I created an Adventure, right-clicked and selected "Send to Device"
It transfers successfully, and if I look at the device folder, Garmin->Adventures, I see the files.

Now when I start the eTrex 20, I get "No Results Found Try Adjusting Search Parameters"
And if I look at the Folder Garmin->Adventures, the file is gone (erased when I started the eTrex 20)

Any suggestions?

This problem is not just limited to etrex as there are reports of other devices with a similar issue. We are scheduled to look into the issue for the next BC release. For other devices, it was reported that sending the adventure to the device and not to the SD card still worked and that it only failed when the adventure was sent to an SD card. But this didn't help when I tested it on our etrex 20. Maybe you'll have better luck. Sorry about the issue.

This issue has been fixed in the upcoming release. If you're willing to brave a workaround, then you can follow these steps:
1. After you send the Adventure to your device, go look in the Adventures folder on the device via Finder.
2. Copy the name of the file (don't include the extension). This is the adventure ID and it is case sensitive.
3. Open the adventure file with a text editor (it's an xml file).
4. Search for 'Temp.gpx'. It should be under the element 'GPSData'. Replace Temp.gpx with nnn.gpx, where nnn is the adventure ID you copied above. Save the file.
5. Look in the GPX folder. You'll see a file with the name Temp.gpx. Rename that file to match the name nnn.gpx, where nnn is the adventure ID.

Eject the device and the adventure should show up on your device now...

I found another users adventure via a search on BaseCamp. Downloaded it to my Basecamp on computer. Am logged in and my Garmin Oregon 650 is connected. I hilited the adventure I want to transfer, and the pop-up window says it transferred, but it is nowhere to be found on my 650. Help me out please. Have plenty of room on my SD.
