Curvy Roads Not for Long

I'm using BC 4.4.8 I set the routing choice to Curvy Roads and to avoid Interstates. Running a Mac OS 10.10.4

Built a route from Easton, PA to a lodge on the Blue Ridge Pkwy in VA. About 30 miles west of Easton the route shifted to I-78 and pretty much used Interstates for the rest of the trip. Is this a common problem or mine alone? Possibly BC has a thing for President Eisenhower?

Thanks for the info. That thread was from back in February and it noted improvements made. Looks to me like the improvements didn't get over to the Mac version yet.

Improvements have not made to the Windows version yet either (Windows BC 4.4.7 at least) which still acts the same as the original post in Feb.
