If I go to preferences and select routes, I fine a plus and minus slid bar a the bottom that defaults to 0. If I move the bar to make the number -10, I assumed my routes would take longer. Even when I recalculate the route the time does not change. What am I doing wrong? Thanks
I created a route with the default settings, then changed the setting to -10 and the route took longer. I'm not sure what you are doing differently, but there are some caveats: that only affects roads with default speeds over 35mph, you must use the same profile in the route that you changed in the preferences, it only works on driving profiles (but you should only see the option for those), etc.
