Basecamp not recognizing ANY Garmin devices.

Hello all, i've been having a lot of problems with Basecamp lately.

It was crashing A LOT (every few minutes). I talked to Garmin and they couldn't figure out the problem. They said to delete all of my .JNX files (Birdseye Imagery), I was reluctant to do so as I have about 20 GB of Imagery that i've spent countless hours downloading over the last bunch of years. Anyway, I just deleted them all. I uninstalled Basecamp and everything associated with it.

I've re-installed it and re-imported various tracks and waypoints, but no Birdseye imagery.

Anyway, that's a little background to the problem I'm having now. My computer and/or Basecamp no longer recognizes My garmin devices. I've tried about 3 different 62s's and the same amount of Eurex 30's with no luck.

I've tried to read about it on the Web, but haven't had any luck.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the response SUSSAMB. I have tried to click that very same link and I keep getting an error message for some reason?

I am still having problems with base camp crashing, although I did get my computer and Basecamp to recognize my device.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it has something to do with Birdseye Imagery. I'm currently just using Birdseye TOPO.

We have fixed several start-up crashes for the upcoming 4.5 release. One of the crashes was specific to eTrex 30. We just released 4.4.8 on the AppStore that you may want to try.
