Trip Planner Does Not Work

Hello,
I recently updated basecamp to the latest version and now when I try to use the trip planner, it comes up I decheck the date and round trip click continue and the next item that comes up is the mode for calculation, I verify (in my case it's motorcycle), I click start and nothing happens, no new window etc.

Any ideas what is wrong?

No, but have you tried reinstalling it? Also have you rebooted your mac?

Yes, redownloaded and rebooted several times, I have a mac book air with OSX 10.9.5 operating system, had the pervious basecamp downloaded 2.1.2 (I think) and the trip planner worked fine, but would have unexpected shut downs, then when I tried to export a trip to the zumo it would shut down upon the transfer.
So i thought that I would install the latest basecamp.

My guess is that you are running OSX 10.10.3. It appears a change 10.10.3 has caused our search and destination search fields in Trip Planner to disappear. We didn't see this on 10.10.2 when we were doing our 4.4.7 testing. We've fixed the issue for 10.10.3 and are planning a 4.4.8 maintenance release just for this problem.

Wurth, you are correst, spoke with garmin support yesterday and they were able to resolve the issue by removing the current update and installing 4.4.6, they are working on the resolution to be incorporated in the next update. As of now all is well.
